It may not be the question as to what the dress looks like, it’s about who wore that one.
This may have answered why the new survey released revealed that the simple black dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in the film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” has been named as the greatest female screen dress of all time.
The dress defeated highly famous outfits such as the wedding dress worn by Sarah Jessica Parker in the film “Sex And The City” or the sexy bikini worn by Ursula Andress in the Bond film “Dr. No”
The dress worn by Hepburn was reportedly designed by Givenchy and was accessorized with pearls and long black gloves. Viewers were able to see Hepburn wear this ensemble in the hit 1961 film.
Lovefilm magazine, the conductor of the survey, said that the simple black dress made a statement in the world of fashion despite being created several decades ago.
